VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES PROGRAM

We need volunteers to help coordinate the Caring Closet, teach classes of all sorts, help with child/care, lead Bible Studies and generally be a friend/mentor to our Thursday morning classes. 

Will you consider donating items for our Caring Closet? Each week the groups members who attend get to pick 3 items from the Closet. Most needed items: TP, paper towels, shampoo, deoderant/other women's toiletry items, women's underware of all sizes, towels, diapers, gift cards in any amount.

GRANT WRITERS NEEDED: We would like to apply to several places for grants and would like some volunteers who might just love to help with that!

LUTHERAN DISASTER RESPONSE

Skilled disaster volunteers are still needed in the Nashville area for the next few months as we continue the rebuilding of homes from the May, 2010 floods. We are now scheduling groups  for the disaster response in the Greenville TN area and in the Chattanooga/Apison/Ringgold GA areas. Consider organizing a group to come to Tennessee to  rebuild homes and help in the restoring of people's lives.
